Research notes
Note that another child named Dirkje de Geus was baptised around the same time. The Baptism in 1723 is most likely the correct one since the Dirkje de Geus in this profile had a daugher named Aagje, named after her mother. If the other Dirkje baptised 1726 was correct she probably would have named one of her daughters Jannigje and one of her sons Dirck, but these names do not occur. Additional proof is that at the second marriage of Cornelis Verheij his first wife is referred to as Dirkje Jacobsz. de Geus, clearly given her fathers name as Jacob.
